Published: An introduction, for young children (3 years upwards), to a variety of religious and sectarian festivals. Each short documentary on the DVD follows families through traditional celebrations, and includes, songs, stories, and activities that children can carry out at school or home. The Chinese New Year Festival can occur any time between January 21 and February 20, and lasts for 15 days; Divali is a Hindu new year festival taking place in October or November and lasting for 5 days. Eid-ul-Fitr is the one day Muslim festival marking the end of Ramadan, and Hanukkah, often called the Festival of Lights, is an 8 day Jewish festival referring to the rededication to God of the temple in Jerusalem two thousand years ago.
