Published: The late Nadia Gamal was a Lebanese dancer who was critically acclaimed both in the Arab world, and her distinguished background in the arts made her a natural teacher. Her teaching experience in the USA led her to open the first School of Oriental dance in Beirut, which she directed until her untimely death. This video, of her second workshop on New York, was filmed in 1981. The dance styles presented include Oriental Dance, Folklore, Basic Beledi, Drum Solo, and Bedouin Gypsy.
