Two performances of the music for Merce Cunningham's 1968 masterpiece: a 20 minute version recorded during a live performance of the work by the Cunningham company in Brazil in 1968, and the first concert performance, running for more than 40 minutes, at Cornell University in 1969. The CD also includes a few very short piano pieces by Gordon Mumma.
