Author: Griffiths, Victoria & Jean Jarrell Published: 2005 This pack gives teachers a series of carefully structured and progressive Labanotation tasks and readings that can be used to illustrate and develop students' understanding and skills in both the reading and writing of Labanotation. Although primarily aimed at AL/AS (Advanced and Advanced Subsidiary) Level Dance teachers, the pack will be useful for anyone teaching post-16 students and adult learners. The pack consists of three sections: the first is a set of photocopiable loose-leaf student worksheets and readings; the second a teacher's guide. The third section is a CD which includes all the worksheets, including the diagrammatic or notated answers in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Part 2 of the pack, available separately, continues on from Part 1, with tasks related primarily to the reading of more refined detail. |
