Published: 2004 The full-length recording of this ballet, with Antoinette Sibley and Anthony Dowell, has sadly been deleted. This shortened version is now the only recording of the ballet available in Ashton's choreography.This abridged (78 minutes), black and white, version of Cinderella was filmed in New York, for NBC Television, in 1957. The picture quality is only fair, but it preserves a galaxy of wonderful performances: as well as the stars, the cast includes Svetlana Beriosova, Julia Farron, Elaine Fifield,Alexander Grant, Annette Page, and Merle Park, with the orchestra conducted by Robert Irving.
