Author: Lumbye, Hans Christian Published: 2004 This volume of Marco Polo's ongoing series of compositions by Hans Christian Lumbye is of particular interest for its inclusion of first recordings of music written for Bournonville to choreograph: five pas de deux, four of them for his private pupils, the Healey sisters (El capricho, Fiskerpigerne, Galop militaire, and Polketta), and one for Augusta Nielsen and Bournonville himself (Polacca guerriera).
