This CD contains most of the music used in Ashton's The Dream, though, as Eric Morecambe would have said, not necessarily in the right order. (There is no recording currently available of the ballet in John Lanchbery's arrangement of the score for Ashton.) The CD also contains 20 minutes of music from Grieg's Peer Gynt.
