Published: 2003 Three modern ballets from the repertory of the Dutch National Ballet. 7th Symphony (recorded in 1989) and Grosse Fuge (1984) both use the eponymous Beethoven scores, while Piano Variations (recorded in 1983) uses music by Prokofiev, Satie, and Debussy. The DVD also includes an interview with the choreographer of the two latter pieces, Hans van Manen.
