Nijinsky's diary was written during a six week period before his 30th birthday and gives us an insight into the end of his life as a dancer and the beginning of his thirty years as a madman. The diary was first published in 1936 but in a heavily bowdlerised version that omitted almost half of his text. This edition is the first complete version in English and the first in any language to cover the fourth notebook. Edited by Joan Acocella.
