Two twentieth century Scandinavian ballets, both originally written for the Royal Danish Ballet. Qarrtsiluni (Harald Lander, 1942) tells of the dramatic arrival of the Eskimo spring, while Moon Reindeer (Birgit Cullberg, 1957) relates the tale of a young girl turned by a sorcerer into a reindeer and rescued by the love of a good man.
