Author: Stravinsky, Igor Published: 2004 Two of Stravinsky's masterpieces are here conducted by his long-time associate and amanuensis Robert Craft. The speaker in Oedipus Rex is Edward Fox, and the soloists in both works include Alison Wells, Susan Bickley, Martyn Hill, David Wilson-Johnson, and Alan Ewing. Choruses are provided by the Simon Joly Male Chorus and Chorale, the four pianos in Les Noces are played by the International Piano Quartet, and the percussion provided by the Tristan Fry Percussion Ensemble.
