Centre for Interdisciplinary Music Research (CIMR) Music Department, Roehampton University

To celebrate the opening of CIMR, Roehampton University’s music department is hosting a one-day conference based around the central themes of the centre. The themes are diverse; interdisciplinary is taken in its broadest meaning.

Panel: Professor Stephanie Jordan (Roehampton University), Dr. Helen Julia Minors (Roehampton University) and Dr. Maria Paraskevopoulou (Roehampton University), who will each issue a short statement regarding interdisciplinary research in the aim of stimulating discussion, joined by Professor Michael Chanan and Dr. Caroline Rae.

The conference committee is lead by the first president for the centre, Dr. Barley Norton, along with centre members Dr. Helen Julia Minors and Dr. Alan Stones.
